It’s a match made in culinary heaven: Michelin-starred chef José Andrés has partnered with Chicago’s own Gibsons Restaurant Group to open two stunning new restaurants in the Bank of America Tower (120 N. BAZAAR MEAT 

The Steakhouse, Redefined

Have a truly bespoke dining experience at Bazaar Meat, Chef José Andrés’ elegant celebration of all things carnivorous.Every moment of your dinner is specially curated, from the moment you’re greeted with an aperitivo upon check-in downstairs at Bar Mar, to the personalized tasting menus featuring meat, such as expertly dry-aged Wagyu, hand-selected from more than 400 special cuts.

Underneath sparkling crimson chandeliers designed to mimic the flames of a volcano, enjoy a curated tasting menu that travels from inventive raw preparations (carpaccio of bison served Buffalo-style with pickled celery, bleu cheese, Buffalo wing sauce) to the prized vaca vieja, or ribeye aged to perfection. In addition to meat, vegetable lovers rejoice with a beautiful array of market fresh options. Watch the flames in the kitchen flicker as you sip cocktails like the Med Martinez, a spirit-forward Spanish-inspired libation featuring two gins, px, amontillado, maraschino liqueur and a touch of sherry vinegar, or a wine from our expansive list highlighting varietals from around the world.

The Bounty of the Sea

From fresh oysters piled on mounds of sparkling ice to ceviches that taste of the ocean, Bar Mar is a true celebration of the sea, with modern takes on classics you know and love, festive cocktails, and a bright, beautiful space that effortlessly combines the nautical with the elegant.

Slide into a cozy navy banquette to dig into signature creations like a hamachi cone (brick dough, smoked Hamachi, yuzu-sesame mayo, and radish), mussels in escabeche, José Andrés' elegant take on a lobster roll, and specialties including whole fried fish. Look through the restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows at the hustle and bustle of N. Wacker Drive as you enjoy a handcrafted cocktail like the Salt Air Margarita, savoring a moment of escape in this under-the-sea paradise.
