Celebrating Women in Beverage
The Bazaar New York
March 1 - March 31
This Women's History Month, join us at The Bazaar New York and The Bazaar Bar as we celebrate the creativity of the women in beverage, with specials selected by our Lead Sommelier, Kristin Courville, designed to showcase the passion, dedication, and precision she brings to our beverage program.
With more than two decades of hospitality experience across the globe, Kristin joined José Andrés Group as an opening member of The Bazaar last summer. She uses her eclectic background in academia and hospitality to present a beverage program that is ever-evolving and has depth in flavor.
Committed to sharing the stories and histories behind each sip, Kristin has a deep love of elevating other female innovators within her program, with two favorites being Ana Maria Romero Mena and Julie Macklowe.
Ana Maria Romero Mena, of Mijenta Tequila, is one of the first Official Catadores of Tequila, and is widely regarded as one of the most trusted, respected, and awarded tequila authorities in Mexico.
Julie Macklowe, a New York City business woman and passionate entrepreneur, was inspired by her expansive collection of the world’s finest whiskies to start The Macklowe, the first luxury American Single Malt.
With a variety of female-led cocktail, sake, and whiskey specials, there's an experience for everyone at The Bazaar.
