¿Qué es el cava?
Cava, the famous Spanish sparkler, was first made in the 1870s, when Spanish winemaker Josep Raventós learned about the art of making sparkling wines on a journey to Champagne. Since then, some of the best bubbly wines in the world have been made in the Penedès region of Spain, just outside of Barcelona, following the traditional Champenoise method and using three native Spanish grapes (parellada, xarel-lo, and macabeo).
